PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
The one who visits the sick is in a Makhrafah (an orchard) of Paradise until he returns.
PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
Whoever visits a sick person is plunging into mercy until he sits down, and when he sits down he is submerged in it.
PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
Whoever visits the sick, or visits his brother in Allah (faith), a caller calls out:
May you have goodness and livelihood be good, and may you dwell in an adobe in Paradise.
PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
Whoever visits a sick person, a caller calls from heaven:
May you be happy, may your walking be blessed, and may you occupy a dignified position in Paradise.
PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
Whoever comes to his Muslim brother and visits him (when he is sick),
1) He is walking among the harvest of Paradise until he sits down,
2) And when he sits down he is covered with mercy.
3) If it is morning, seventy thousand angels will send blessing upon him until evening,
4) And if it is evening, seventy thousand angels will send blessing upon him until morning.
PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
No Muslim visits (the sick) Muslims in the morning, except that sevety-thousand angels, sent Salat upon him until the evening, and he does not visit at night except that seventy thousand angels sent Salat upon him until the morning, and there will be a garden for him in Paradise.
PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
There is no man who visits a sick person in the evening but seventy thousand angels go out with him, praying for forgiveness for him until morning. And whoever visits him (the sick person) in the morning, seventy thousand angels go out with him, praying for forgiveness for him until evening.
It was narrated that Abü Hurairah said:
"The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Who among you fasted today?'
Abü Bakr said: 'I did.'
He (ﷺ) said: 'Who among you attended a funeral today?'
Abü Bakr said: 'I did.'
He (ﷺ) said: 'Who among you fed a poor person today?'
Abü Bakr said: 'I did.'
He (ﷺ) said: 'Who among you visited a sick person today?'
Abü Bakr said: 'I did.'
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), said: 'These qualities are not combined in a man but he will enter Paradise."
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:
"The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
'Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, will say on the Day of Resurrection:
"O son of Adam, I fell sick and you did not visit Me."
He will say: "O Lord, how could I visit You when You are the Lord of the Worlds?"
He (ALLAH) will say: "Did you not know that My slave so and so was sick, but you did not visit him? Do you not know that if you had visited him you would have found Me with him?
O son of Adam, I asked you for food and you did not feed Me."
He will say: "O Lord, how could I feed You when You are the Lord of the Worlds?"
He (ALLAH) said: "Did you not know that My slave so and so asked you for food, but you did not feed him? Do you not know that if you had fed him, you would have found that with Me?
O son of Adam, I asked you for water and you did not give Me to drink."
He will say: "O Lord, how could I give you to drink when You are the Lord of the Worlds?"
He (ALLAH) will say: "My slave so and so asked you for water, and you did not give him to drink. If you had given him to drink you would have found that with Me."'
