PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
Cleanliness is half of faith.
PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
Do not camp on the middle of the road, or relieve yourselves there.
PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
A man, who had never done any good deed, removed a thorny branch from the road. Either it was a branch of a tree that he cut down and threw aside, or it was on the road, and he removed it. Allah appreciated this and admitted him to Paradise.
PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
Faith has seventy-odd' - or 'sixty odd - branches,
1) The best of which is saying La ilâha il lallâh,
2) And the least of which is removing something harmful from the road,
3) And modesty (Al-Hayâ') is a branch of faith.
Narrated Mu'adh ibn Anas al-Juhani:
I fought along with the Prophet (ﷺ) in such and such battles. The people occupied much space and encroached on the road. The Prophet (ﷺ) sent an announcer to announce among the people: Those who occupy much space or encroach on the road will not be credited with jihad.
PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
"Beware! Avoid sitting on he roads (ways)." The people said, "There is no way out of it as these are our sitting places where we have talks." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "If you must sit there, then observe the rights of the way." They asked, "What are the rights of the way?" He (ﷺ) said, "They are
1) The lowering of your gazes (on seeing what is illegal to look at),
2) Refraining from harming people,
3) Returning greetings,
4) Advocating good and
5) Forbidding evil."
PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
1) The Muslim is the one from whose tongue and hand the people are safe,
2) And the believer is the one from whom the people's lives and wealth are safe.
PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
1) The best of you is the one whose goodness is hoped for, and people are safe from his evil.
2) And the worst of you is he whose goodness is not hoped for, and people are not safe from his evil.
