Narrated: Abu Ad-Darda
PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
"Shall I not inform you of what is more virtuous than the rank of fasting, prayer, and charity?" They said: "But of course!" He (ﷺ) said: "Making peace between each other. For indeed spoiling relations with each other is the destruction."

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
The best amongst you are those who have the best manners and character.

QURAN 2:8-12
8. And of the people are some who say, "We believe in Allah and the Last Day," but they are not believers.
9. They [think to] deceive Allah and those who believe, but they deceive not except themselves and perceive [it] not.
10. In their hearts is disease, so Allah has increased their disease; and for them is a painful punishment because they [habitually] used to lie.
11. And when it is said to them, "Do not cause corruption on the earth," they say, "We are but reformers."
12. Unquestionably, it is they who are the corrupters, but they perceive [it] not.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day Should talk what is good or keep quiet.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
While a dog was going round a well and was about to die of thirst, an Israeli prostitute saw it and took off her shoe and watered it. So Allah forgave her because of that good deed.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
You gain no victory or livelihood except through (the blessings and invocations of) the poor amongst you.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
May the extremists perish,
May the extremists perish,
May the extremists perish.

QURAN 5:2
And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression. And fear Allah ; indeed, Allah is severe in penalty.

Narrated: Mu'awiyah bin Jahimah As-Sulami
Jahimah came to the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) and said:
"O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)! I want to go out and fight (in Jihad) and I have come to ask your advice." He (ﷺ) said: "Do you have a mother?" He said: "Yes." He (ﷺ) said: "Then stay with her, for Paradise is beneath her feet."

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
Whoever suppresses his rage while he is able to unleash it, Allah will call him before the heads (leaders) of creation on the Day of Judgment, so that he can inform Him of which of the Hur he would like.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
Whoever killed a Muahid (person having a treaty with the Muslims), shall not smell the smell of Paradise though its smell is perceived from a distance of forty years.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
By his good character a believer will attain the degree of
1) One who prays during the night and
2) Fasts during the day.

QURAN 5;32
Whoever kills a soul unless for a soul or for corruption [done] in the land - it is as if he had slain mankind entirely. And whoever saves one - it is as if he had saved mankind entirely.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
By the One in Whose Hand is my soul! Either you command good and forbid evil, or Allah will soon send upon you a punishment from Him, then you will call upon Him, but He will not respond to you.

Narrated: Suraqah bin Ju'shum
"I asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) about a lost camel that comes to my cisterns that I have prepared for my own camels - will I be rewarded if I give it some water to drink? He (ﷺ) said: Yes, in every living being there is reward.'"

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
May that nation not be cleansed (of sin) among whom the weak cannot get their rights without trouble.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
You have been sent to make things easy (to the people) and not to make them difficult.

QURAN 49:6
O you who have believed, if there comes to you a disobedient one with information, investigate, lest you harm a people out of ignorance and become, over what you have done, regretful.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
Allah has revealed to me, that you must be humble towards one another, so that no one wrongs anyone else or boasts to anyone else.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
Indeed, fear of people should not prevent a man from speaking the truth, if he knows it.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
If somebody commits suicide with anything in this world, he will be tortured with that very thing on the Day of Resurrection.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
Indeed the most beloved among you to me, and the nearest to sit with me on the Day of Judgment is the best of you in character.

QURAN 28:77
But seek, through that which Allah has given you, the home of the Hereafter; and [yet], do not forget your share of the world. And do good as Allah has done good to you. And desire not corruption in the land. Indeed, Allah does not like corrupters.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
Whoever has the following four (characteristics) will be a pure hypocrite and whoever has one of the following four characteristics will have one characteristic of hypocrisy unless and until he gives it up:
1. Whenever he is entrusted, he betrays.
2. Whenever he speaks, he tells a lie.
3. Whenever he makes a covenant, he proves treacherous.
4. Whenever he quarrels, he behaves in a very imprudent, evil and insulting manner.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
A lady was punished because of a cat which she had imprisoned till it died. She entered the (Hell) Fire because of it, for she neither gave it food nor water as she had imprisoned it, nor set it free to eat from the vermin of the earth.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
Seek your weak for me. For indeed you sustenance and aid is only by your weak.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
Make things easy for the people, and do not make things difficult for them and give them glad tidings and do not repel them.

QURAN 2:256
There shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of] the religion. The right course has become clear from the wrong. So whoever disbelieves in Taghut and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy handhold with no break in it. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
He who deceives (people) does not belong to me.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
Rights will certainly be restored to all creatures on the Day of Resurrection, until even the hornless sheep will settle its score with the horned one.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
One of the evil deeds with bad consequence from which there is no escape for the one who is involved in it is to kill someone unlawfully.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
Al-Birr (righteousness) is a good character, and sin is that which wavers in your heart and you do not want the people to find out about it.

QURAN 4:85
Whoever intercedes for a good cause will have a reward therefrom;
And whoever intercedes for an evil cause will have a burden therefrom.
And ever is Allah, over all things, a Keeper.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
The worst of my community are those who speak a lot, those who are diffuse in speech and those who fill their mouth with words.
The best of my community are the best of them in character.

Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "While a man was walking he felt thirsty and went down a well and drank water from it. On coming out of it, he saw a dog panting and eating mud because of excessive thirst. The man said, 'This (dog) is suffering from the same problem as that of mine. So he (went down the well), filled his shoe with water, caught hold of it with his teeth and climbed up and watered the dog. Allah thanked him for his (good) deed and forgave him." The people asked, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Is there a reward for us in serving (the) animals?" He (ﷺ) replied, "Yes, there is a reward for serving any animate."

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
The one who looks after a widow or a poor person is:
1) Like a Mujahid (warrior) who fights for Allah's Cause, or
2) Like him who performs prayers all the night and
3) Fasts all the day.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
O people, you should observe moderation,
O people, you should observe moderation,
O people, you should observe moderation.

QURAN 21:107
And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad ﷺ], except as a mercy to the worlds.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
Be afraid, from the curse of the oppressed as there is no screen between his invocation and Allah.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
The Lord's pleasure is in the parent's pleasure, and the Lord's anger is in the parent's anger.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
The merciful are shown mercy by Ar-Rahmaan (Allah).
Be merciful on the earth, and you will be shown mercy from Who is above the heavens.
The womb is named after Ar-Rahmaan, so whoever connects it, Allah connects him, and whoever severs it, Allah severs him.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
Nothing is heavier on the believer's Scale on the Day of Judgment than good character.

QURAN 31:16
[And Luqman said], "O my son, indeed if wrong should be the weight of a mustard seed and should be within a rock or [anywhere] in the heavens or in the earth, Allah will bring it forth. Indeed, Allah is Subtle and Acquainted.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
When the son of Adam wakes up in the morning, all of his body parts bow to the tongue and say: 'Fear Allah regarding us, we are only part of you. If you are straight we are straight and if you are crooked we are crooked.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
An ant bit a Prophet amongst the Prophets, and he ordered that the place of the ants be burnt. So, Allah inspired to him, 'It is because one ant bit you that you burnt a nation amongst the nations that glorify Allah?

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
How wonderful is the case of the believer, for all his affairs are good. If something good happens to him, he is thankful for it and that is good for him; If something bad happens to him, he bears it with patience, and that is good for him. This does not apply to anyone but the believer.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
Religion is very easy and whoever overburdens himself in his religion will not be able to continue in that way. So you should not be extremists, but try to be near to perfection and receive the good tidings that you will be rewarded; and gain strength by worshipping in the mornings, the afternoons, and during the last hours of the nights.

QURAN 7:56
And cause not corruption upon the earth after its reformation. And invoke Him in fear and aspiration. Indeed, the mercy of Allah is near to the doers of good.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
O Muslim women! None of you should look down upon the gift sent by her female neighbor even if it were the trotters of the sheep (fleshless part of legs).

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
Some people open the door to good and close the door to evil,and some people open the door to evil and close the door to good. Glad tidings to those in whose hands Allah places they keys to good, and woe to those in whose hands Allah places the keys to evil.

Narratd: Sa'eed bin Jubair
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) cursed the one who takes any living being as a target.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
Whoever is deprived of gentleness, he is deprived of goodness.

QURAN 2:83-86
83. And [recall] when We took the covenant from the Children of Israel, [enjoining upon them], "Do not worship except Allah ; and to parents do good and to relatives, orphans, and the needy. And speak to people good [words] and establish prayer and give zakah." Then you turned away, except a few of you, and you were refusing.
84. And [recall] when We took your covenant, [saying], "Do not shed each other's blood or evict one another from your homes." Then you acknowledged [this] while you were witnessing.
85. Then, you are those [same ones who are] killing one another and evicting a party of your people from their homes, cooperating against them in sin and aggression. And if they come to you as captives, you ransom them, although their eviction was forbidden to you. So do you believe in part of the Scripture and disbelieve in part? Then what is the recompense for those who do that among you except disgrace in worldly life; and on the Day of Resurrection they will be sent back to the severest of punishment. And Allah is not unaware of what you do.
86. Those are the ones who have bought the life of this world [in exchange] for the Hereafter, so the punishment will not be lightened for them, nor will they be aided.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
Do not say anything for which you will have to apologize.

Narrated Hisham bin Zaid:
Anas and I went to Al-Hakam bin Aiyub. Anas saw some boys shooting at a tied hen. Anas said, "The Prophet (ﷺ) has forbidden the shooting of tied or confined animals."

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
The one who tells another about something good is like the one who does it.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
The best of your religion is that which is easiest.
The best of your religion is that which is easiest
The best of your religion is that which is easiest

QURAN 6:108
And do not insult those they invoke other than Allah , lest they insult Allah in enmity without knowledge. Thus We have made pleasing to every community their deeds. Then to their Lord is their return, and He will inform them about what they used to do.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
Whoever does not show mercy to our little ones, and respect the rights of our elders, he is not one of us.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
Whoever plunders (violent and dishonest acquisition of property) then he is not of us.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
The first cases to be decided among the people (on the Day of Resurrection) will be those of blood-shed.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
The worst people are those whom the people desert or leave in order to save themselves from their dirty language or from their transgression.

QURAN 16:90
Indeed, Allah orders justice and good conduct and giving to relatives and forbids immorality and bad conduct and oppression. He admonishes you that perhaps you will be reminded.

Narrated Abu Musa:
Some people asked Allah's Messenger (ﷺ), "Whose Islam is the best? i.e. (Who is a very good Muslim)?" He (ﷺ) replied, "One who avoids harming the Muslims with his tongue and hands."

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
There is none amongst the Muslims who plants a tree or sows seeds, and then a bird, or a person or an animal eats from it, but is regarded as a charitable gift for him.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
The one who sponsors an orphan, whether it is a relative of his or not, he and I will be like these two in Paradise.
Mâlik (a sub narrator) pointed with his forefinger and middle finger.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
O people, you will not be able to handle, or will not be able to do, all that you have been commanded to, but aim to achieve righteousness and come close to it.

QURAN 60:7-9
7. Perhaps Allah will put, between you and those to whom you have been enemies among them, affection. And Allah is competent, and Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
8. Allah does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes - from being righteous toward them and acting justly toward them. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly.
9. Allah only forbids you from those who fight you because of religion and expel you from your homes and aid in your expulsion - [forbids] that you make allies of them. And whoever makes allies of them, then it is those who are the wrongdoers.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
Being honorable is wealth and noble character is piety.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
If one restrained his anger, Allah will keep His punishment away from him (on the Day of Resurrection).

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
He who makes peace between the people by inventing good information or saying good things, is not a liar.

Khadija said:
I swear by Allah that He (Allah) shall never disgrace you (O Prophet Muhammad ‎ﷺ).
By Allah,
1) You join ties of relationship,
2) You speak the truth,
3) You bear people's burden,
4) You help the poor and destitute,
5) You entertain guests, and
6) You help people when calamity strikes.

QURAN 99:6-8
6. That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds.
7. So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it,
8. And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
A man may speak a word that angers Allah and not see anything wrong with it, but it will cause him to sink down in Hell the depth of seventy autumns.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
Indeed when the Muslim mixes with the people and he is patient with their harm, he is better than the Muslim who does not mix with the people and is not patient with their harm.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
1) Your smiling in the face of your brother is charity,
2) Commanding good and forbidding evil is charity,
3) Your giving directions to a man lost in the land is charity for you.
4) Your seeing for a man with bad sight is a charity for you,
5) Your removal of a rock, a thorn or a bone from the road is charity for you.
6) Your pouring what remains from your bucket into the bucket of your brother is charity for you.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
Do (good) deeds which is within your capacity (without being overtaxed) as Allah does not get tired (of giving rewards) but (surely) you will get tired and the best deed (act of Worship) in the sight of Allah is that which is done regularly.

QURAN 19:96
Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds - the Most Merciful will appoint for them affection.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
I would not like to mimic someone even, if I got such and such.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
Whoever among you wakes up
1) Physically healthy,
2) Feeling safe and secure within himself,
3) With food for the day,
it is as if he acquired the whole world.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
If anyone
1) Wrongs a Muahid (person having a treaty with the Muslims),
2) Detracts from his rights,
3) Burdens him with more work than he is able to do, or
4) Takes something from him without his consent,
I will plead for him (the Muahid) on the Day of Resurrection.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
There is no gentleness in a thing but it adorns it, and it is not removed from something but it mars it.

QURAN 13:11
Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves.

Narrated: Abu Hurairah
Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Do you know what backbiting is?" They said: "Allah and His Messenger (ﷺ) know best." He (ﷺ) said: "When you say about your brother something that he dislikes." They said: "What if what I say about my brother is true?" He (ﷺ) said: "If it is true then you have backbitten him, and if it is not true then you have slandered him."

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
The strong is not the one who overcomes the people by his strength, but the strong is the one who controls himself while in anger.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
When a man dies, all his good deeds come to an end except three:
1) Ongoing charity,
2) Beneficial knowledge, or
3) A righteous son who will pray for him.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
There is no sin more worthy of Allah hastening the punishment upon its practitioner in the world – along with what is in store for him in the Hereafter – than
1) Tyranny (Oppression/Injustice)
2) And severing the ties of kinship.

QURAN 20:42-46
42. Go, you (Moosa) and your brother (Haroon), with My signs and do not slacken in My remembrance.
43. Go, both of you, to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed.
44. And speak to him with gentle speech that perhaps he may be reminded or fear [Allah]."
45. They said, "Our Lord, indeed we are afraid that he will hasten [punishment] against us or that he will transgress."
46. [Allah] said, "Fear not. Indeed, I am with you both; I hear and I see.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
It is sufficient evil for a man to look down on his Muslim brother.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
Simplicity is part of faith.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
The nations prior to you were destroyed because if a noble amongst them stole, they used to excuse him, and if a poor person amongst them stole, they would apply (Allah's) Legal Punishment to him. By Him in Whose Hand Muhammad's (ﷺ) soul is, if Fatima, the daughter of Muhammad (ﷺ) stole, I would cut her hand.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
Show mercy and you will be shown mercy. Forgive and Allah will forgive you.

QURAN 17:53
And tell My servants to say that which is best. Indeed, Satan induces [dissension] among them. Indeed Satan is ever, to mankind, a clear enemy.

Narrated: Anas bin Malik
"The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "When I was taken up (into heaven), I passed by some people who had nails of copper, with which they were scratching their faces and chests. I said: 'Who are these people, O Jibrail?' He said: 'They are the ones who consumed the people's flesh and impugned their honor."’

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
The companion who is the best to Allah is the one who is best to his companion. And the neighbor that is the best to Allah is the one that is best to his neighbor.

Narrated: Abdullah bin ‘Amr
“It was said to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ): ‘Which of the people is best?’ He (ﷺ) said: ‘Everyone who is pure of heart and sincere in speech.’ They said: ‘Sincere in speech, we know what this is, but what is pure of heart?’ He (ﷺ) said: ‘It is (the heart) that is pious and pure, with no sin, injustice, rancor or envy in it.’”

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:
When you are three persons sitting together, then no two of you should hold secret counsel excluding the third person until you are with some other people too, for that would grieve him.

QURAN 4:135
O you who have believed, be persistently standing firm in justice, witnesses for Allah , even if it be against yourselves or parents and relatives. Whether one is rich or poor, Allah is more worthy of both. So follow not [personal] inclination, lest you not be just. And if you distort [your testimony] or refuse [to give it], then indeed Allah is ever, with what you do, Acquainted.

1) The Muslim is the one from (the harm of) whose tongue and hand (other) Muslims are safe,
2) And the believer is the one with whom the people trust their blood and their wealth.

1) The dearest of people to Allah is the one who does most benefit to people,
2) And the dearest of deeds to Allah is
Joy that you bring to a Muslim, or
Relieving him of distress, or
Paying off debt for him, or
Dispelling his hunger.
3) And to walk with a brother to meet his needs is dearer to me than observing Aitikaaf (Seclusion) in this mosque – meaning the mosque of Madinah – for a month.

Narrated: Ali
Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) sent an army and he (ﷺ) appointed a man over them. He (the commander) lit a fire and said: "Enter it." Some people wanted to enter it, but others said: "We are trying to flee from this." Mention of that was made to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and he (ﷺ) said to those who had wanted to enter the fire: "If you had entered it, you would have remained in it until the Day of Resurrection." And he (ﷺ) said good words to the others. He (ﷺ) said: "There is no obedience if it involves disobedience towards Allah; obedience is only in that which is right and proper."

Narrated `Ali:
The Prophet (ﷺ) sent a Sariya under the command of a man from the Ansar and ordered the soldiers to obey him. He (i.e. the commander) became angry and said "Didn't the Prophet (ﷺ) order you to obey me!" They replied, "Yes." He said, "Collect fire-wood for me." So they collected it. He said, "Make a fire." When they made it, he said, "Enter it (i.e. the fire)."
